How It Works

Getting started is straightforward—even if you're not sure what you need.

Step 1

Schedule a Free Consultation

The first step is a brief phone consultation—15 minutes or less—to describe what's bringing you in and determine whether this practice is a good fit for your needs.

This isn't an intake or a clinical session. It's simply an opportunity to ask questions, share a bit about your situation, and decide together whether to move forward.

Step 2

Complete Roadmap Services

Every client begins care with Roadmap Services—a comprehensive intake process that serves as both a psychological consultation and care planning session.

This includes a detailed clinical interview, wellness measures, and psychological screeners designed to give us a complete picture of what you're experiencing. Based on this information, we'll build a personalized roadmap for your care: clear recommendations about what kind of support would actually help, whether that's therapy, psychological assessment, or a referral to another provider.

Roadmap Services is a required first step before therapy or assessment. It ensures that whatever comes next is grounded in genuine understanding of your situation—not assumptions.

Step 3

Begin the Right Kind of Care

Once we've completed Roadmap Services and identified the best path forward, we'll schedule sessions and begin. Whether that's therapy, Therapeutic Psychological Assessment, or Focused Psychological Assessment, you'll have a clear understanding of what to expect and what we're working toward.

Throughout the process, we'll check in about how things are going and adjust as needed. Care should evolve as you do.

A Note on Uncertainty

If you're not sure whether psychological services are what you need—or which kind—that's completely normal. Many people reach out feeling uncertain about where to start.

You don't need to arrive with a clear problem statement or a specific diagnosis question. The entire point of Roadmap Services is to help you gain that clarity. You just need to be willing to describe what you're noticing. We'll figure out the rest together.

This website provides information about psychological services and is not a substitute for professional consultation. If you are experiencing a mental health emergency, please contact 988 (Suicide and Crisis Lifeline) or go to your nearest emergency room.
